Day in the life ♡

How do I defeat the boredom of a casual summer day...

First and foremost, I never ever start my day off scrolling on my phone. I don't intend to do that either. (I do that at night hehe ironic) Instead, I marinate in my bed for a couple of minutes... maybe 20... and then I start my day. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, wash my face, and head downstairs for breakfast. I think brushing teeth first thing in the morning is a great habit I learned because I read somewhere that eating your breakfast with bad bacteria isn't good for your gut-- something like that, but I just feel cleaner and more awake when I do that, and it's an everyday habit I've gotten used to.

Breakfast for me is anything I find in the fridge or pantry. It could be Nutella one morning, and then the next morning an Avocado toast. It really depends on the day. I also love to have Miso Soup in the morning! The soup is Japanese, and promotes great gut health, as well as a big package of probiotics. Did you know it even provides vital vitamins such as Vitamin K, and Zinc? They're great for the bones! It's my best friend for immunity and gut health :)

After that I would typically get ready for the day, like makeup, hair, outfit, etc. I would get out of the house and just go anywhere like the MALL! All this just to get at least 10k steps in a day, what a bonus! Shopping and healthy ;P

I might "pretend" to study topics in history and science, but math, I stay away from (its not my biggest strength) and I guess I would end the day there after watching some of my favorite 2000's shows. Don't you just love it when a show has a bajillion seasons and long episodes? Best discovery yet.

Do some skin care, maybe wash my hair, and get my beauty sleep ♡

This is definitely not everyday, I have some unproductive moments, but I always try to stay productive and keep myself busy.

Stay busy,

Emmy, xoxo

What was your dream when you were little? ♡

My dream?

Oh man.. I was honestly all over the place even as a little girl (I still am) I don't even remember what my exact dream was. Maybe it was a princess? I was really obsessed with Princess Aurora growing up, I had themed bedsheets, toys, and dresses. I even had those little plastic toy high heels I bet every girl had. I definitely learned how to wear high heels from a young age.

By the time I was in middle school I watched one of the space launches and I thought it was the most incredible events that could happen in life. I was very interested in science at the time, and planets were so interesting to me. I even had a favorite planet, Neptune. Blue is such a lovely colour, even though everything I own is honestly pink... Then I had this one teacher who was obsessed with history, her obsession contaminated me! I learned of Anne Frank, and her story was so fascinating yet devastating, I was even inspired to become an author because of her. I wrote novels about all the events that I've experienced based on Anne Frank, an inspiration of mine. Her story was so powerful, I'm sure it has inspired so many young girls.

So what was, is, my dream? Is it STEM? History? Journalism?

I'm leaning towards STEM, so many women are starting to enter this field and its so lovely to see, I want to grow that number greatly in the near future.

Did you know roughly 32% of women in the U.S are  currently in the STEM field?

Catch ya later!

Welcome ♡

Hi everyone, and welcome to my blog!

This is my little diary entry corner on the internet where I share my interests and hobbies like fashion, helping others, trends, inspiration, and bits and pieces of everyday life.

I made this space to inspire other girls that they are not alone. Whether you don't know what to do after high school, or even what to do this summer, I've got you! I've been in that very situation, I didn't even know what major to choose in college until senior year. There's so many things I want to do in life, I had so much trouble. So many interests, hobbies, lives to live, it gets a little overwhelming don't you think?

I want this to be a positive space that inspires us girls in all sorts of ways we can imagine. If you have any ideas for me to write about, feel free to leave a comment!

Lets have fun!

Love Emmy, xoxo

Vacation over, so summer’s over♡

It’s August! Time flies by so quickly! It’s like the year just started a few days ago.  Every year, I say the same thing, that the year goes...
